Licensed Bar and Snacks

The licensed Hotel bar at the New Kent is open 6pm until 11pm daily (longer opening times on bank holidays). We have a select collection of alcoholic beverages from Wychwood Brewers such as Hobgoblin, Bishop’s Finger, Fiddlers Elbow, Wychcraft along with more popular branded names Tetley Smooth flow, Guinness and Bulmers Cider. The traditional spirits are Jack Daniel, Bells, Baileys, and Smirnoff Vodka.

We now serve Carling on draft during the busier periods of the year.

House Red and White wines are available at competitive prices. (If you require Champagne please order when making you booking so as not to be disappointed on arrival)

In the bar lounge area we have a 32″ Plasma TV so you can relax and enjoy your favourite programmes or watch the kids play on the Xbox 360 (if you allow?)

We also have some more traditional games for all the family to play such as Monopoly, Scrabble, Chess and Draughts along with Miss Pacman a table top game many Mums and Dads will remember from the 80’s.

For the adult guests we have a 10p per turn fruit machine that has a five pound repeat Jackpot!

If you feel you would like a little more than our sandwich offerings later on at night we have an extensive range of take-away menus. You can order a Pizza or Chinese (for example) with your friends and we will provide the crockery and cutlery free of charge!
