One of Blackpool's Beautiful Sunsets'

There are many sights in the world that will take your breath away and none more so than the beautiful sunset that one sees time and time again in Blackpool.

Almost gone

Almost gone

It can not be guaranteed every day to be so spectacular however if your not here you will not see such splendor. This sunset has the tide in and I will be looking to shoot a similar picture when the tide is out.

Blackpool Beach

The Beach in Blackpool is a mere 150 metres from the front door of the New Kent B&B hotel and with an invigorating breeze that comes from the sea straight to our front door I must ask “Is there a more pleasant place for me to live?” Or for you to stay? Well possibly as Blackpool is a fantastic place for all the family and whether it is for the quiet of the North Shore, the noise, partying and excitement of the South and Central shores of Blackpool there is definitely something for all.

Golen Sands await you all

Golden Sands await you all....

Although it is stated that the Blackpool Illuminations only stretch for 6 miles along the promenade Blackpool beach covers around 9 to 10 miles of the coast line which many consider to be Blackpool albeit this includes Blackpool, Lytham, Bispham and Cleveleys leading up to Fleetwood.

Taking a stroll, a leisurely walk and even something a little more energetic like running or cycling the Beack in Blackpool attracts them all.

The view towards Blackpool and our hotel from out on the beach of the North Shore as you can see is quite exhilarating and offers many a revitalizing walk away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

North Shore Promenade Blackpool

North Shore Promenade Blackpool

The promenade stretches for many miles and the section between our hotel and the beach is possibly the best on offer. Traveling in the opposite direction to Blackpool Tower Bispham is a mere one mile stroll with Cleveleys a further two miles or so. For those of you who would like a real stroll on a beautiful day then Fleetwood with its Freeport village and the fresh fish markets are only a further few miles down the coast line. As I say to all our guests walk as far as you can first along the prom and when you feel you can walk no more then just jump on a tram and it stops at the end of our road.

The North shore of Blackpool has some of the best views throughout the whole of Blackpool all without the Stag and Hen culture that has gripped most of blackpool these days. Feel relaxed and restassured that the North Shore is a wonderful place to stay for all ages. Families and friends are most welcome to our B&B hotel where you will arrive as a guest and leave as a friend.

Blackpool’s North Shore

Our Blackpool hotel is situated in the North shore of Blackpool with it’s breath taking panoramic views of the coast and Lake district in the far distance provides a fantastic place for families, couples and romantics. Stroll the promenade from Gynn Square the start of the North Shore until Cleveleys without the hustle and bustle of the Stag and Hen culture that has swept through Blackpool over the years.

Our hotel in the North Shore of Blackpool offers a warm welcome to all people who wish to take it easy, relax and enjoy the tranquility of such breath taking scenery. On a really clear day it has been said you can see the Isle of Man in the far distance and on many occasions you can see the wind turbines which are several miles off shore.

One suggestion I give many if not all my guests is walk the beautiful coast line until you are tired and then travel back in comfort and style on one of the trams that are as frequent as every 20 minutes in the summer season.

Blackpool Hotels

Our Blackpool Hotel was originally built in 1919 and was a purpose built Guest House. Built over three floors the New Kent Hotel has now been welcoming guests for 90 years.

Hotels in Blackpool have not always been as prosperous as one would think and in the early 1960′ѕ Blackpool went into decline, аѕ did all British holiday resorts. Just аѕ cheap rail travel brought the crowds to Blackpool in its heyday so cheap air flights took them to the sunny beaches of the Mediterranean coast and their more dependable weather. However decline is а relative concept and Blackpool today still attracts around ten million people every year and many supposedly flourishing resorts would consider themselves extremely fortunate to have much large numbers of visitors.

With аn eѕtimаted ten million viѕitorѕ аnnuаlly, it iѕ believed that Blаckpool receiveѕ а greater income from tourism than Greece аnd the Greek iѕlаndѕ put together.
